Integral to the growth and attraction of any community are robust and vibrant business districts.  Focusing solely on growth as the measure, however, is misguided and is not sustainable.  “Robust and vibrant” in this context means creating an atmosphere that allows economic activity to flourish while balancing the needs of residents, their neighborhoods, the environment and the overall health of our community.    Working with existing business owners as well as prospective ones, I will strive to ensure the City adopts policies consistent with economic development that lead to the enhancement of our City’s overall quality of life.
